It’s been 50 years 😢

by Admin

I was 16 and my stepmother forced me to get the abortion. She railroaded my Dad. He didn’t have a voice. She didn’t want the embarrassment of a 16 year old unmarried girl living under her roof. What would the neighbors say? She was a L.P.N. and knew full well what would happen. I was 3 1/2 months pregnant when she took me to a OB-GYN she had once worked for. I was a naive 16 year old back in 1971 and had NO IDEA why I was admitted to the hospital. It wasn’t until late at night that a caring person came to the hospital and told me about what had happened. When I asked my stepmother why, she didn’t really have a good answer and told me the baby was only a tiny dot. LIAR 😡. Life magazine did a report several months later and when I saw that my Precious Baby was a REAL HUMAN BEING, I was inconsolable, and have Never been the same! Seems to me that the ink was barely dry on Roe-v-Wade when the abortion was done. Yesterday the Supreme Court overturned the Ruling. I had been Praying for this to happen for a very long time. It’s 50 years too late for My Precious Child. The comfort I have is that I am a Christian and know that My Little One is up in HEAVEN with Our HEAVENLY FATHER and Our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST and I will be Reunited with him or her. A couple of years ago, I thought of names for a girl and boy. I’ve never gotten the medical records microfished from way back then to know the gender. Sorry to go on for so long, but as all of you know, we hold a lot inside our hearts and minds. To everyone who has gone through an abortion and are in pain, I stand with you Pray that GOD will give you Comfort and Peace. 🙏❤️

Fifty years ago you were 50 years YOUNGER than you are right now! YOU did not make the choice to abort your baby, your stepmother did that! Obviously she ran the household because her voice was the only one that counted. (According to her) If even your Dad couldn’t sway her, how could you, a young girl? You had no choice in the matter, it was all decided for you. And that precious child IS in your future, way more than in your past. Jesus’ blood paid for EVERY sin, including the sin of abortion. Forgive yourself completely, and though it’s hard, forgive your stepmother, too, AND your Dad if you feel he should have done more to stand up for you. I’m about your age, and volunteer in a local pro-life pregnancy center. (I was on staff for years as a consultant at a different location; I’m now retired) If your schedule permits maybe you could volunteer at a pro-life pregnancy center near you. They almost always need volunteers. God bless you for sharing your experience even though it’s caused you much pain.
